Obituary of James Vivas Pridgen

James Vivas Pridgen, age 87, of LaBelle, passed away October 7, 2015 in Cape Coral. He was born June 2, 1928 in Jacksonville, FL, to the late James Van Pridgen and the late Marie (Vivas) Pridgen Barnes. Jim served in both the US Navy and US Army. He was also active in the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign War. He is survived by his wife: Anna(Jones) Pridgen, five sons: James Michael Pridgen, James Tony Pridgen, Kenny Pridgen, James Vivas Pridgen, Jr., Donald Reed and daughters: Jackie Becerra and Maria Pridgen. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Pridgen and sister, Jackie. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Alva Cemetery.
