Obituary of John R. Taylor

John R. "Randy" Taylor, age 66, of Sun City Center, passed away December 6, 2015 in Sun City Center. Randy was born Feb. 7, 1949 in Arcadia, FL, to the late Stancil and Jackie (Osteen) Taylor. Randy served in the Air Force from August 1967 until his Honorable discharge August 22, 1973. After serving in the Air Force he worked as a loan officer for Farm Credit Financing for 33 years. Survivors include his mother; Jackie (Osteen) Taylor, one brother: Larry (Jean) Taylor of and two sisters: Kathie (Jeff) Fleming, Becky Polk, nephews; Logan Polk and Jason Taylor, one niece; Amy Taylor. A Memorial Gathering will be held at 11:00 a.m. in Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church on Thursday, December 10, 2015. Cremation arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.
