Obituary of Carol L Heier

Carol L Heier, age 72, of Fort Myers, passed away January 11, 2016 in Lehigh Acres. She was a resident of Florida for 50 years. She was born in Binghamton, New York to Walter and Geraldine Brown Heier. She had many interests which she made into careers. She was a real estate broker/developer, avid boater, computer manager and Licensed Practical Nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother; Ike Heier. She is survived by her close cousins; Vince and his wife Cynthia Branning and David Branning, and several other cousins. She is also survived by her close friend; Irene Doane, and friends including Bruce Parker, Steve and Ruth Knutsen. She requested a graveside service at Alva Cemetery. The graveside will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 in Alva Cemetery. With a visitation starting at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Carol's name to Hope Hospice or the local animal shelter. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home.
