Obituary of James Russell Roberts

Obituary for: James Russell "JR" Roberts, SR James Russell "JR" Roberts, SR, age 77, of LaBelle, passed away August 3, 2010 in Lehigh Acres, Florida. He was born Oct. 7, 1932 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of Charles William and Mary Louise (Jett) Roberts. He married Phyllis J. Leonardy; she preceded him in death. He was a tile setter for many years. Survivors include one son: James R. Roberts Jr. and two daughters: Dorothy J. Usina and Suzanne M. Roberts; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son; Philip Roberts and brothers; Charles J. and Roy C. Roberts. Funeral services were held 11 am Friday, August 6, 2010 in Akin-Davis Funeral Home LaBelle where Rev. Daniel Harvey officiated. Interment was in Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle.
