Obituary of Elizabeth Gertrude Davis

Elizabeth "Bette" Gertrude Davis, age 95, of Moore Haven, passed away March 7, 2016, in Loxahatchee. She was born Oct. 18, 1920, in McKeesport, PA, to the late John and the late Anna (Duhnoy) Chomanics. She was a parishioner of Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Moore Haven. She worked as an abstractor for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all of her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Judie Engel and son-in-law Karl Engel, granddaughters; Mary Elizabeth O'Bannon (Philip) and Karla Anne Molnar (Greg), great grandsons; Parker O'Bannon, Seth Molnar, and Atticus Molnar and great-great grandson Jase Orion Molnar, many dear nieces, nephews and close friends. Her memorial service was held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Moore Haven with Father Marcial Garcia presiding. Food and fellowship followed in the Parrish Hall. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in her name to St. Joseph the Worker Food Pantry
