Obituary of Virgil Russell Sullivan
Buddy (Crash) Sullivan, was born September. 11, 1953 in Kissimmee, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Denise, two sons: Clint and wife Whitney, Wesley and wife Ashlee, as well as his three granddaughters, Trinity, Kolbie and Haylee, which he loved to the Moon and Back. Buddy is also survived by his mother, Rudene and sisters, Oma (Tom) and Dalene (Julian), Sherry, Bitsy, Aleeta, Dena (Brett), Bridgette (Jack), as well as many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil and brother, Cecil, Jr.
Buddy's first love was Rodeo, which he shared with his father, Cecil and his brother, "Little Cecil". Throughout his life he worked cows, ranched and ran heavy equipment, as well as owning three businesses in Lee County, which took him to find his true passion, his love of cooking and catering for others. This led him and his family to create Buddy's Kuntry Katering. He was best known for his amazing ribs, chicken and damn good steaks.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016, 11:00 am at Crossroads Baptist Church, Fort Myers with T.W. Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Alva Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at the Avery Residence, 3761 Goggin Road, Alva. Visitation will be held on Thursday for one hour before the funeral service at Crossroads Baptist Church.
