Obituary of Raul Grimaldo

Raul "Rudy" Grimaldo, age 70, of LaBelle, passed away April 10, 2016 in Lehigh Acres. He was born Feb. 24, 1946 in Encinal, TX, to the late Cixto Castillo and the late Manuela Grimaldo. Rudy was a baseball and football coach for more than 20 years and was known as coach Rudy to many kids in LaBelle. He also loved to fish. He is survived by his loving wife: Carmela (Espinosa) Grimaldo, two sons: Raul Grimaldo, Jr. (Vicki) and Eric Grimaldo (Danielle), grandchildren: Manny, Joshua, Dixon, Dayne, Kaden, Jenna and great grandchildren, Addison, Braelynne and Kynsley. Rudy received a lung transplant over fifteen years ago and the family would like to express the importance of organ donation, because it allowed them to have another fifteen years together. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 10:30 am at Life Ministries Church, LaBelle with Pastor Jorge Rodriguez officiating.
