Obituary of Robert Lee Lipford

Robert Lee Lipford, Sr., age 66, of LaBelle, passed away May 11, 2016 in LaBelle. He was born Aug. 8, 1949 in Elkton, MD, to the late Dennis Roby Lipford and the late In Nim Ji (Chee) Lipford. He served during the Vietnam War in the Air Force. He was worked for many years in the transporation department of the Hendry County School Board. Robert was also an avid collector. Survivors include his daughters: Debbie Nim (Greg) Peterson of Fort Myers and Vicky Lee Lipford of Florida, brother: Frank Lipford and sister: Ruby Hoggart of Maryland, grandchildren: Jennifer Hale, Matthew Kirby; John Higgins and Samantha Higgins and great-granddaughter: Skyler Kirby. He was also preceded in death by his son, Robert Lee Lipford, Jr. and brother: Frank Lipford. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016, 10:00 a.m.at Akin-Davis Funeral Home in LaBelle with Rev. Frank Deerey, Jr. officiating.
