Obituary of Brenda Lynette Collins

Brenda Lynette Collins On the morning of June 8, 2016, Brenda passed away after fighting a long time battle with cancer. She was visited and comforted by her family and friends at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida. She was 60 years old. Brenda Collins was born in the town of Fort Myers on January 17, 1956. She was the first child of three and the only daughter of Alton and Kathryn Clifton. Brenda loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a strong love for Christ and Gator football. She made a point to attend all her children and grandchildren's sports events and was always the loudest voice in the crowd. She had a beautiful laugh and a wonderful smile. Her happiest moments she would always say would be to see all her children and grandchildren together for family events or holidays. She was always full of stories and could make you laugh. She lived a full life in the short time she was with us. Brenda was preceded in death by her father Alton Clifton, mother Kathryn Clifton, and brother Tommy Clifton. Brenda is survived by her brother Donnie Clifton, children Randall Scott Howell, Robert Chad Howell, Kristopher Craig Howell, and Jami Latrelle Cox. Her grandchildren Emily Howell, Carson Cox, Jensyn Howell, Charlee Howell, Thomas Howell, and Cooper Cox. Her daughter in laws Lindsay Howell, Tiffani Howell, and Kristy Howell. Her son in law Christopher Cox and sister in law Amy Clifton. Her nieces Michelle DeRocco and Amy Clifton and nephews Donnie and Andy Clifton. Brenda will be laid to rest next to her mother, father, and brother in Immokalee Florida on Saturday June 11th at 10:00. She will have a gravesite service at the Friendship Baptist Cemetery with her closest family and friends in attendee.
