Obituary of Curtis Leroy Mitchell

Curtis Leroy Mitchell "Curt" 1950 – 2016 Curtis, a native of Ft. Myers, born Jan. 27, 1950 to James T. and Ada (Sellers) Mitchell left this earth to be united with his heavenly father June 16, 2016. He was pre-deceased by his father and sister Tannis (Bob) Norris. Curtis recently retired after a 50 yr. career in the wholesale marine business which he began while in high school. He was a member of Faith Assembly of God and lived his life reflecting his love for God. Curtis leaves to cherish his memories brother, James "Pete" (Star) Mitchell; his wife of 47 yrs. Sherry (Barker) Mitchell; son Travis (Amber) Mitchell and daughter Lindsay (Gabe) Glenn. He was devoted to his family including his adoring grandchildren Landon Glenn, Lauren Glenn, Lathan Glenn and Bo Mitchell. He impacted the lives of many others. Not a day will go by that we will not miss his love, guidance, teasing and laughter. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 21st at 6:30 p.m. Faith Assembly of God, 6950 Bayshore Rd., N. Ft.
