Obituary of Lucille M. Parker
Lucille M. Parker, age 86, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, previously from Warren, Ohio was welcomed into the presence of her Savior on October 5, 2016.
Lucille M. Reed Rine Parker was born in Adrian, West Virginia on June 5, 1930 to the late Joseph W. Reed and the late Freda G. (Cox) Reed. She married her childhood sweetheart, Sidney Rine and they had six children: Cindy (Skip) Losey of Lehigh Acres, Florida; Thomas (Mary) Rine of Alva, Florida; Cathy Miller of Warren, Ohio; and Joseph (Jennifer) Rine of Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by sons, Paul Rine and Mark Anthony Rine. She was also preceded in death by her husband Sidney Rine in 1996. Later she married Stanton Parker and was happy for eight years before he passed away in 2008.
Lucille started playing the piano, organ and guitar in church when she was twelve years old. As a teenager she sang on the Wheeling Radio Station. Lucy enjoyed singing in the ladies trio in church and was active with the Widow's Group and Benevolence Ministry. She attended First Assembly of God in Fort Myers, Florida.
Lucille worked at Fisher Brother's, Carol Style Center and Servermation. Her other interests were cooking, baking and making candy. Mom loved to cook and hosted many parties with style and grace. She loved people and never met a stranger. Mom was an inspiration to all of her children, friends and will live forever in our hearts.
She was one of six children, Katherine (Don Ferry) Bostwick, Lonnie (Linda) Reed, Robert (Linda) Reed, James (Carol) and Ronald Reed deceased. Grandchildren: Paul David, Tommy, Curtis, Liza, Brooke and Gabby Rine, Walter Losey, Kevin and Kyle Miller, Brandon Britton and Keri Belisle. Great Grandchildren: Leah and Ean Losey, Zachary Schuler, Kaiden and Sidney Miller, Collin, Hunter, Gage and Jillian Rine, Trent, Trae, Troy and Trevyn Britton, Dominic and Teague Belisle.
She lived her life the best she could and God was with her all the way. She was known for her unwavering faith, love for her family and her great sense of style. She wanted her life to be a celebration of life.
A celebration of life will be handled by Carl W. Hall Funeral Home in Warren, Ohio. Interment will be in Sager Memorial Cemetery, Bristolville, Ohio.
