Obituary of Sookdaye Ragoonanan

Sookdaye Ragoonanan, age 87, of LaBelle, passed away October 4, 2016 in Lehigh Acres. She was born Jan. 24, 1929 in Trinidad and Tobago, to the late Ramdin and the late Mahadai (Kahaloo) Siew. Sookdaye was the owner and operator of Rams Nursery for many years. She is survived by her children: Sham Ramanand. Kumar Raghunanan, Prem Ramanand, Geeta West, Seeta Mohammed, Neila Burchard, Dave Ragoonanan, Daharam Ragoonanan and Kalawatee R. Stallins, sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramanan Ragoonanan, son, Jai Ragoonanan and grandson, Justin Stallins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, LaBelle with Pandit Ralph Rampersad officiating.
