Obituary of Jay B. Spann

Jay B. Spann, age 91, of LaBelle, passed away October 16, 2016 in LaBelle. He was born Feb. 25, 1925 in Lauderdale County, Alabama. He was a contractor and the developer of Caloosa Cove in LaBelle. Before moving to LaBelle, he lived in Homestead, FL where he owned a hardware store and rental properties. He is survived by his son: Danny Spann of Okeechobee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Spann in 2012. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, October 21, 2016, 11:00 am at Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle.
