Obituary for: Martha Malinda Knox Martha Malinda "Linda" Knox, age 71, of Clewiston, passed away October 1, 2010 in Clewiston, FL. Linda was born Apr. 6, 1939 in Logan, West Virginia the daughter of the late Avery and the late Nona (Norman) Hensley. She worked on the assembly line for Chrysler Automotive for many years. She grew up in Varney, West Virginia. She graduated from Matewan High School in Matewan, West Virginia, she moved to Dayton, Ohio when she turned 18 and married Ronald Knox in 1957. She loved her church and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters: Tonda (Wilbert) Moore of Stanford, Kentucky, Gail (David) Muench, Millbrook, New York Sharon (Deceased Husband Martin) Etzweiler of Clewiston, Florida and one brother: John Hensley of Varney, West Virginia and one sister: Mary Christine Blevins of Kentucky. Linda is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, son Harlan Avery, brothers; Alexander, Rush, Samuel, Robert, Pete, Greenway and Tommy Hensley, sisters; Nancy Sprouse, Rose Marie Hensley and Nevada Mounts. Funeral services were held Mon. October 4, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Akin-Davis Funeral Home, 438 E. Sugarland Hwy., Clewiston with Elder Stanley Campbell officiating. Interment was Mon. in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston. Visitation was Sunday from 6-8 pm in Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston, FL. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston
