Obituary of Gloria R. White

Gloria R. White, age 80, of Fort Myers and South Windsor, CT passed away January 22, 2017 at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres. She was born Oct. 18, 1936 in Natick, MA to Michael and Rita (LaStella) Palladino. Gloria married Paul R. White. She worked for The Journal Inquirer, South Windsor High School Cafeteria and Dynamic Controls. She was a loving mother raising her children. She was a member of St. Mary Margaret Catholic Church in South Windsor, CT. She dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was the world's best friend, wife, mother and Nana and Italian cook! She graduated from Natick High School in 1954 and attended Bentley College in Waltham, MA. Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years; Paul White, daughter; Elaine Montane and her husband David of Alva, FL, sons; Stephen White and his wife Marybeth (Sedlock) White of Concord, NH, Neil White and his wife Ginger (Snyder) White of Tolland, CT, grandchildren; Jillian Montane, Stephanie White, Eric White, Jacob White and Sarah White, sister; Grace Burke, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in Fort Myers.
