Obituary of Carolyn Ann Mathis

Carolyn Ann Mathis, age 69, of LaBelle, passed away February 15, 2017 in Lehigh Acres. She was born Jan. 28, 1948 in Fort Myers, FL, to the late Finis Williams and the late Minnie (Fussell) Williams and was a lifelong resident of LaBelle. Carolyn was a devoted wife and mother. Survivors include her husband of fifty-one years: Raleigh Eugene Mathis,sons: Kenny Eugene Mathis, Darren Keith Mathis and Kevin Brent Mathis, daughter: Donna Lynn Marney, brothers and sisters: Elton Williams, Dale Williams, Wayne Williams, Sue Goff and Pennie Davis,, and grandchildren: Logan Mathis, Sarah Marney and Hannah Marney. She was also preceded in death by her brother: Ray Williams and sister: Mary Williams. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 10:30 am at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, LaBelle with Rev Graham Chancey officiating. Interment will be in Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle.
