Obituary of James W Flynn
Jimmy was a 2nd generation Floridian, an endangered species! Born and raised in Alva, Florida. God made him a very special person with many talents. He holds a very special place in each one of our hearts and they are for different reasons.
He graduated from Alva High School in 1939, Tampa Business College, and Seminary. He played basket-ball (state champs) played tennis, even drove the school bus. He was state boxing champion, cattleman, cowboy, constable, cast-netter, raced horses, & even a clergy. Jimmy Flynn was a "manly man" the real life John Wayne in person. Our hero! He was always singing & playing his harmonica, and a true Bible scholar. He loved the Lord! Jimmy was always positive, and never gave up. His sister, Opal, said Everybody loved Jimmy! But his greatest accomplishment was his family.
