Obituary for: James F. "Jimmy" Dana, Jr. James F. "Jimmy" Dana, Jr., age 78, of LaBelle, passed away October 11, 2010 in LaBelle, FL. He was born Mar. 21, 1932 in LaBelle, the son of the late James Frank and the late Dorothy (Taylor) Dana, Sr. Mr. Dana married Doris Cross October 3, 1949 in LaBelle, Florida; she survives. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for many years. He was a member of Church of God of LaBelle. Survivors include his wife of 61 years: Doris Dana of LaBelle, sons; Edwin (MaryAnn) Dana of Okeechobee, Jimmy F. (Judy) Dana, III of LaBelle, daughter; Carol Anderson of LaBelle, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, sister; Betty Vasos of Franklin, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Loraine Dana. Funeral services will be held Fri. October 15, 2010 at 11:00 am in Church Of God-LaBelle, Highway 80, LaBelle with Bishop Cliff Gobble officiating. Interment will be in Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle.
