Obituary of Heather S. Van Wagner

Heather S. Van Wagner, age 47, of Alva, passed away April 24, 2017 at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres. She was born Oct. 28, 1969 in Bossier City, LA, to Albert Raymond Thompson and the late Barbara Jo (Nunns) Thompson. Heather was a member of the First Memorial Presbyterian Church in Dover, NJ. Heather also was a local insurance agent for many years in Lee County. She is survived by her husband: Charles W. Van Wagner, son: Tyler Van Wagner, daughter: Ashley Van Wagner, father: Albert Raymond Thompson, brother: Donnie Thompson (Geanean Martin), maternal grandmother: Geraldine Nunns, mother-in-law: Sally Wilson, stepson: Matt Anderson and many, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jo Thompson. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 6:00-8:00pm at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, 13932 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL.
