Obituary of Gilberto Valdez Hernandez

Gilberto V Hernandez went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2017. He was born on September 16, 1936 in Brownsville, Texas. He was a simple man with a loving heart. He owned a farm in LaBelle. He was a hard worker, loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a funny, positive outlook on life. He enjoyed family, work, dance and golf. Gilberto passed away with Hospice with advance stage of Alzheimer's. Remember him with a smile. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alicia Espinosa Hernandez; a daughter, Selena (Wilton) Crawford of Anderson, SC, their children, Alicia, Katie (Zach) Alexander, Wil Crawford; a son, Rene (Tina) Hernandez of LaBelle, Fl., their children, Anthony (Chelsey) Hernandez, Joshua, Daniel, Keilani, and Alexander Hernandez.
