Obituary of Joseph Vernon Montgomery

Joseph V. Montgomery, 85 of Fort Myers, Florida died August 16th, 2017 at his home. Born and raised in Charles county Maryland, he was the son of the late Viola Dixon Montgomery and the late Benedict C. Montgomery. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brothers Randolph, Reginald, Vincent , Alex, James, and sisters Gwen, Lorraine, Imogene, Vertie Norma Jean, Evelyn, and Lillia. He is survived by his wife, Annie Montgomery of Maryland; son Joseph., and Paul (Sheri) and daughters Sylvia Whatley (Donnie) and Annette Hingson, 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, brothers LeRoy and Benedict.Joe served in the United States Air Force and moved to Florida with his family in 1969.
