Obituary of Carl Lamar Tatum

Carl Lamar Tatum, age 81, of Clewiston, passed away September 11, 2017 in Loxahatchee. He was born Sep. 13, 1935 in Colquitt, GA, to the late John and Martha (Williams) Tatum. He married Darlene Knowles; she preceded him in death on October 17, 2000. Mr. Tatum worked as a service man for U.S. Sugar Corporation for over 40 years. He attended faithfully Clewiston Church of God for many years. He will be missed by all of his extended family and his many church friends. Survivors include one son: Roger K Tatum, one sister: Bernice Davis of Pelham, GA. Mr. Tatum was also preceded in death by one son; Ronnie Tatum and two sisters; Lanelle Thompson and Judy Gibson. Celebration of Mr. Tatum's Life was held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11:00 am at Clewiston Church of God, Clewiston with Pastor Joshua Caraway and Pastor Eric Birch officiating. Interment was in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston. Visitation was Monday from 06:00-08:00pm at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston, FL. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston
