Obituary for: Roy D. "Danny" Rice Roy D. "Danny" Rice, age 78, of Clewiston, passed away November 9, 2010 in Clewiston, FL. He was born Nov. 17, 1931 in Garten, West Virginia the son of the late Albertis and Vida (Lusk) Rice. Mr. Rice married Nancy C. Campbell. He served in the United States Army. He was a fireman with the Montura Fire Department. He was a Supervisor. He was a member of Turning Point Church of God. Survivors include his wife: Nancy C.(Campbell) Rice, four sons: Michael (Carolyn) Rice, David Rice, James Rice, William Rice and two daughters: Joyce Gorecki, Deborah Munger two brothers: John Rice, Donald Rice, one sister: Betty Rice, thirteen grandchildren; three and one on the way great grandchildren Funeral services were held Fri. November 12, 2010 at 3:00 pm in Turning Point Church Of God, 207 Pine Lane, Clewiston with Rev. Dennis Edgar officiating. His body was cremated after the services. Visitation was Thursday from 06:00-08:00pm in Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston, FL. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
