Obituary of Kaitlyn R. Desormeau
Kaitlyn Renee Desormeau, 21, of Naples, passed away on October 5, 2017, in Glades County, Fl.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Labelle Church of God with the Bishop Clifford Gobble officiating. Labelle Church of God is located at 590 E. Hickpochee Ave in Labelle, Fl.
Kaitlyn was born in Boynton Beach, Fl. to Jon and Jessica Desormeau on November 20, 1995. Kaitlyn was a stellar student from the time she entered elementary school, and every year afterward. She moved to Labelle over six years ago with her Mother and Stepfather, where she attended Labelle High School. She graduated Cum Laud in 2014. Afterward, she continued her education at Florida South Western State College. Her career goal was to become a veterinarian. During her course of studies, Kaitlyn interned as a veterinarian technician at Heartland Animal Hospital in Sebring, Fl. She received her AA, and continued towards her bachelor's degree. Over the three years of attending college, Kaitlyn worked as a deli associate at Winn-Dixie and as a hostess at Beef O'Brady's, both in Labelle, and was currently employed at Millers Ale House in Naples, Fl.
Kaitlyn is preceded in death by her Maternal Grandmother Margaret Sisson, and her Paternal Grandmother Rosemary Desormeau.
Kaitlyn is survived by her Maternal Grandfather, Dwayne (Fran) Sisson. Her father, Jon Desormeau of Alabama. Her mother, Jessica Sisson Farabee & stepfather, Thomas W. Farabee of Palatka, Fl. Her siblings: Chelsey Vicari-Ward, Chandler Desormeau, Kyle Desormeau, Colby Desormeau, Abigail Farabee, Rachael Farabee, and her step siblings, Thomas Farabee Jr., Amanda Farabee Ramos, Jessica Farabee, Dale Farabee, and Samuel Farabee. Her boyfriend Cody Bella, and her beloved dog Jasper.
Kaitlyn was very gifted in her studies and excited about her education. Driven by her goals, she looked forward to the future. Kaitlyn loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her sweet little sisters as often as she could. She had a beaming smile, contagious laughter, and was a natural beauty inside and out. Kaitlyn was loved in this life by her family, friends, classmates, teachers and coworkers.
The family of Kaitlyn Desormeau wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all those who loved her, and to those, like us, who hold her memory dear.
