Obituary of Rosie A Burnsed

Rosie A Burnsed, age 81, of Lake Placid, FL passed away January 24, 2018 in Lake Placid. She was born March 13, 1936 in Pavo, GA, to the late Howard A. and Susie Mae (Bryant) Whitney. She was predeceased by a daughter Linda Susan Shannon, a son Billy J. Elkins, brothers W.A. Whitney and Norman H. Whitney; sisters Margie Whitney and Johnnie McDonald. Surviving and Loved by: son: Phillip Lamar Elkins, daughter: Ronnie Breiling , four brothers: George L Whitney, Henry A. Whitney, William Truman Murphy and Richard A. Murphy, three sisters: Willine Murphy-Brandt, Peggy Sue Murphy and Alice Faye Murphy-Brandenburg, 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston with Pastor Joy Harris officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston, FL. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
