Obituary of Judson Ward Francis

Judson "Rusty" Ward Francis, age 72, of LaBelle, passed away March 13, 2018 in Fort Myers. Rusty was born Jan. 16, 1946 in Clewiston, Florida, to Judson V and Mildred (Ward) Francis. He graduated from North Fort Myers High School. He served during Vietnam War in the Army from November 10, 1965 to August 13, 1968. When he got back home he joined the VFW Post 10100, the American Legion Post 130, the LaBelle Moose Lodge, where he was a lifetime member of all three. Rusty was a truck driver most of his life after the military. Rusty was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone who loved and knew him. Rusty leaves fond memories with his two sons; Christian Scot Francis of LaBelle and Jonathan Shane and wife Ruby Francis of North Carolina, sisters; Judy McClure of LaBelle and Becky Chastain of Fort Myers, grandchildren; Sofia, Brittany, and Lex, his best friend; Judy Holland of LaBelle. And many, many lifelong friends. Rusty is preceded in death by his brother; Arthur Francis and his sister; Cathy Ratliff.
