Obituary of Beatrice LaVoille Ricks

Beatrice LaVoal Ricks, age 84, of Clewiston died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at home in Clewiston. Beatrice was born April 15, 1926 in Standbury, MO. She is the daughter of the late Oscar Alvin and the late Chloe (Emrich) Pratt. She married Willie Ricks. She was a homemaker, a founding member of Evangel Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her one daughter: Brenda Joyce (Buddy) Lockhart of Bleus Creek, NC and three sons: Felton Ricks of Fort Myers Beach, FL, Phillip Ricks of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Raymond (Susan) Ricks of Fort Myers Beach, FL; Sister of one brother: Don (Christine) Pratt of LaBelle, FL; she also has 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Grandchild, Jennifer Ricks; Grandchild, Michelle Ricks; Grandchild, Gerald Lockhart; Grandchild, Tammy Jones; Grandchild, Damon Ricks; Grandchild, Melissa Baio; Great Grandchild, Kayla Baio; Great Grandchild, Kevin Ricks; Great Grandchild , Owen Ricks; Great Grandchild, JoAnne Jones; Great Grandchild , Ariel Jones; Great Grandchild , Mitchell Jones. Predeceased by her Husband, Willie Ricks. The funeral service was 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 13 at Evangel Assembly Of God, 350 South Berner Road, Clewiston, FL with Pastor Gary Corley officiating. Interment will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston on Wednesday, April 13 at 10:30 am. Visitation was Tuesday, April 12 from 06:00-08:00pm at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, 438 E. Sugarland Hwy., Clewiston, FL. .
