Oneva Janet Smith, age 62, of Clewiston, passed away January 6, 2020 in Hollywood. She was born Feb. 8, 1957 in Clewiston, FL, to the late Harold Jones and late Louise Smith. Survivors include daughter: Nelda V. Melton, brother: Tracey Smith grandchild, Jason G. Melton, II; niece, Julia Smith. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Smith Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 12:00 pm at First Indian Baptist Church of Brighton, Okeechobee with Pastor Jr Taylor officiating. Interment will be Thursday, January 9, 2020 in Ortona Cemetery, Moore Haven. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 hour prior to service at First Indian Baptist Church of Brighton, Okeechobee, FL.
