Obituary of Chester Blair

Chester Blair, age 88, of Clewiston, passed away February 18, 2020 in Palm Beach Gardens. He was born July 13, 1931 in Kentucky to the late John and the late Lena (Mullins) Blair. He was married to Maudie Blair, who preceded him in death on November 17, 2002. Chester worked for South Florida Water Management District from 1972- 1996, He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for many years. He enjoyed being out in the woods, watching the wildlife, enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Chester leaves behind great memories his children; Chester Blair, Joyce Wilson, David Blair, Vena Poole; grandchildren; Jason, Christy, Christian, James, Jessie, Eugene, DJ, Lisa, Ronnie, David and Danny, great grandchildren; Michael, Brianna, Aurora, Ayden, Kayla, Abigail, Kimmy, Cassidy, JD, Emma, Kaylee, Braylen, Kenlyee, Lil Ronnie, Rosie, and Kendra, and Great - Great Grandchildren; Jayden, Kenzie, and Branson. Celebration of Chester's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 at Akin-Davis Funeral Home – Clewiston with Rev. Don Murray officiating, visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will take place in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Chester was preceded in death by his son; Ronald Blair along with all of his siblings. .
