Obituary of Willie J. Foster, Jr.

Willie J. Foster, Jr., age 76, of Clewiston, passed away August 4, 2020 in Weston. He was born Mar. 19, 1944 in Pittman, FL, to Willie J. Foster, Sr. and Thelma (Hardy) Foster. Survivors include his wife: Mary Tigertail Foster, one son: Dewayne Foster and one daughter: Latoya Pope, three sisters: Rachel Foster, Ruth Foster Brown and Josephine Howard and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Willie J. Foster, III., brother, Nathan Foster and sister, Teresa Foster. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 11:00 am at Big Cypress Cemetery, Big Cypress Reservation with Rev. Salaw Hummingbird officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston, FL. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
