Obituary of Robert Lee Hodges

Robert Lee Hodges, age 83, of LaBelle, passed away November 9, 2020 in LaBelle. He was born Aug. 1, 1937 in LaBelle, FL, to the late James and the late Susie (Tyler) Hodges. He is a Veteran of the US Army. He owned Hodges Glass in LaBelle. He was known to his family and others as Papa; Mr. Fix it, and our Hero. Survivors include his wife: Janet (Farabee) Hodges two daughters: Fonda Woodward and Susan (Sharky) Smith, one brother: Wayne Hodges one sister: Dorothy Bussey 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, The family will receive friends on Thursday November 12 from 5 to 7 PM at the Akin-Davis Funeral Home 560 E. Hickpochee Ave. LaBelle. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 13, 2020 at 10:00 am at Fort Denaud Cemetery, LaBelle with Pastor L. W. Howard officiating.
