Obituary of Mark A. Gibson

Mark A. Gibson, age 67, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2020. He was born at Ft Campbell, KY on August 13, 1953 to the late Tyler Wilson "Tip" Gibson and the late Myrtle M. Gibson. He married Deborah A. DeSpain on December 11, 1992 in Rohnert Park, CA. Mark enjoyed playing golf, cooking, hanging out with his dogs, watching TV, loved music, and spending quality time with his wife and kids. Mark was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous and had recently celebrated 30 years of sobriety on December 8, 2020. He loved the Lord, and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Mark will be dearly missed by his entire family and everyone who knew and loved him. Mark leaves behind his loving wife; Deborah A. Gibson, his two daughters; Michelle D. Rimkeit and her husband Alan Rimkeit, Nicole D. Scott and her husband Leland Scott, his two grandchildren that were his joy; Sarah M. Rimkeit and Tyler J.Scott, his surviving brothers and their wives; Gene (Pat) Gibson, Larry (Diane) Gibson, Jim (Joyce) Gibson, Rick (Cynthia) Gibson, Tim Gibson and Glenn (Pamela) Gibson. Celebration of Mark's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Turning Point Church of God in Clewiston, FL where Pastor Troy Ezell will officiate
