Obituary of Howard Raymond Kent

Howard Raymond Kent, Jr., age 84, of Fort Myers, FL died Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Fort Myers. He was born December 15, 1926 in Columbus, OH and was a former, longtime resident of Commack, NY. Howard was an Army veteran of both WWII and the Korean Conflict. He retired from Eaton Corp in Deer Park in 1989. Survivors include his wife of 63 years: Josephine Catanese Kent of Fort Myers, daughters: Joanne (Peter) Palumbo of Commack, NY, Valerie (Santo) Curcio of Canton, GA, Patricia (Martin) Maletta of Port Saint Lucie, FL, son: Robert (Susan) Kent of Wading River, NY, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A committal service was held Friday, September 2, 2011 at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL with Father James A. Donnelly officiating. Military Honors were conducted by the Army. He will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed.
