Obituary of Rita M. Herrington

Rita M. Herrington, age 81, of Moore Haven died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Hendry Regional Medical Center of Clewiston, FL. Rita was born October 22, 1929 in Bow, NH. She is the daughter of the late Ernest and the late Cora (Klein) Nedeau. She married Jim Herrington. She was a stay at home housewife and mother. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Moore Haven. She is survived by her husband: Jim Herrington ; one daughter: Brenda Updyke and four sons: William Herrington, David Herrington, Kevin Herrington, Steve Herrington; one sister: Ruby Craig; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. The Memorial service was held 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 4 at Saint Martin's Episcopal Church, 207 North W.C. Owen Ave, Clewiston, FL with Rev. Samuel Thomas Ph.D. officiating, with a reception following at the American Legion in Moore Haven. Memorials are suggested to be given to your favorite charity in Rita's name. Arrangements are being handled by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
