Obituary of Serafina Griffin

Serafina Griffin, age 83, of Moore Haven died Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at home in Moore Haven. Serafina was born June 20, 1928, in Islas de Pina, Cuba. She is the daughter of the late Angel Geronimo and the late Celia Martinez (Soto) Gonzalez. She married Richard Griffin. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Griffin on May 5, 1979. She is survived by her two children Dennis and Katherine, one brother: Julio Gonzalez; she also Eight Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren. A graveside service was held 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 5, at Ortona Cemetery Pavilion, 12870 W. SR 78, Moore Haven, FL with Rev. Sherrill Tillery officiating. Interment was in Ortona Cemetery, Moore Haven on Saturday, November 5. Visitation was immediately before services at Ortona Cemetery Pavilion, 12870 W. SR 78, Moore Haven, FL. Family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Gideons International.
