Obituary of Frances Lucille Williams
Frances Lucille Williams, age 70, of LaBelle, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 in Fort Myers. Frances was born February 6, 1941 to the late Gilbert Ernest Taylor and the late Lucille Candacy (Tillman) Taylor in Felda and lived there all her life. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family, reading and growing orchids.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her granddaughter, Brittney Michelle Tanner with whom she shared the birthday of February 6, her grandsons: Nicholas Todd Tanner (Mallory) and Zachary Dean Tanner, all of LaBelle and daughter in law: Winn Weathington (Tim) of LaBelle. She was preceded in death by her sons: Donald Ricky Tanner and Scott Alan Tanner and her husband: Wayland Williams.
A graveside service was Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Felda Cemetery in Felda with Rev. Homer Brewer officiating. Interment followed in Felda Cemetery.
Frances was an extremely warm and caring woman who will be greatly missed by her entire family and the many persons fortunate enough to call her a friend. She touched the lives of many with her smile, kind words, southern charm and wit. She never met a stranger and most people knew her as Granny Frances. But while we grieve, heaven rejoices and we know she is finally home.
