Obituary of Pennie Marie Harris

Pennie Marie Harris, age 91, of Seffner passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Tampa General Hospital of Tampa, FL. Pennie was born March 2, 1920, in Douglas, GA. and moved to Clewiston approximately in 1944. She is the daughter of the late James K. and the late Ethel (Bennett) Davis, Sr. She was the mother of five children: Bonnie, Shell, Peggy, Clay and Ted. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. She had four grandchildren who served missions for the church; Lance Lilly served in Pennsylvania; Briten Lilly served in Paraguay; Todd Williams served in Riverside, California; Johanna Williams-Partridge served in Utah. She is survived by Peggy Williams and Clay Williams of Clewiston and Shell Williams of Fort Pierce, Florida. She has 9 grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. The funeral service was held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, 438 E. Sugarland Hwy., Clewiston, FL. Interment was in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston. Arrangements were handled by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston. .
