Obituary of Virginia Belle Adams

Virginia Belle Adams, age 92, of Clewiston died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Lane Purcell Hospice House of Sumterville, FL. Virginia was born May 17, 1919 in Arkoma, OK. She is the daughter of the late Roland and the late Lula (Unknown) Slaten. She married Harold Drexel Adams. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Drexel Adams on 01/15/1985. She was a homemaker for many years. She was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church for many years. She is survived by her two daughters: Betty Cason, Katherine (husband Darrell) Connell and one son: Gary W. Adams; grandchildren: Cindy, Rhonda, Brett, Amanda Adrianna, Audra and Courtney; great grandchildren: Darcey, Jessica, Christopher, Taff, Katie, Emily, Natalie, Jared, Austin and Jacob and one great-great grandchild Kaiden. The funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, December 9 at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, 438 E. Sugarland Hwy., Clewiston, FL with Rev. Gary Corley officiating. Interment will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston on Friday, December 9 at 1:45 pm. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2011 in Akin-Davis Funeral Home. Akin-Davis Funeral Home of Clewiston Handled the arrangements. .
