Obituary of Mildred V. Featherston

M. Violeline Featherston, age 90, of LaBelle passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 in LaBelle, FL. Violeline was born September 15, 1921 in Coella, IL. She is the daughter of the late Overton and the late Lola (Swisher) Johnson. She is survived by her daughter: Myra (Chuck) Keller; son: Larry (Barbara) Featherston; brother: Howell Johnson; grandchildren: Nancy (Bubbie) Owens, Danny (Pam) Keller, Jeff (Tammi) Featherston and Sherry Featherston; great grandchildren: Brandon Owens , Kyle Owens, Tyler Owens, Kendall Owens , Kayla Keller, Danny Keller, Toby Featherston, Blake Featherston and Kristina Featherston. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Featherston in 1990 and brothers: Leslie Johnson, Toby Johnson, Carl Johnson and Ward Johnson and sister Arlene Westmoreland. The funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15 at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, 560 E. Hickpochee Ave., LaBelle, FL with Rev. Frank Deerey Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Fort Denaud Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, February 14 from 06:00-08:00pm at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, 560 E. Hickpochee Ave., LaBelle, FL.
