Obituary of Bobbie Jean McKenzie
Bobbie Jean McKenzie, age 58, was set free to be with her Lord Apr. 3, 2012 in Fort Myers, FL. Bobbie had a zest for life, a feisty, energetic Spirit and above all a love like no other for her family and friends. She is the glue that holds her family together.
Bobbie was born Jan. 12, 1954 to Richard & Jean Harris and she grew up in Murphys, CA.
Her daughter, Shawnica Erp was born in Jan. of 1972 followed by her son, James Humphrey in Jan of 1980. They moved to Thompson Falls, Montana in 1983. There she met the love of her life, Larry McKenzie and they married May 16, 1990.
Bobbie touched many people over her life with her humor, compassion and love of life. Everywhere she went, she gave part of herself and many times went without to help family & friends in need.
Bobbie had a passion for water & "rock hounding" in creeks, rivers & oceans. Bobbie loved to read, especially science fiction & she loved movies. She loved plants & planting flowers in her many flower beds. Bobbie loved to travel and spent as much of her time as she could visiting her family all over the country. Bobbie & Larry loved riding their Harley's together & she was always planning her next travel adventure.
Bobbie met many people throughout her life & touched many lives in the various jobs she worked over the years but had the greatest opportunity to reach out to people at her job at Spring Creek Academy where she was known as the "Queen of the Hungry Horse."
Bobbie will be missed greatly by all who knew her but by her family most of all.

Rest in Peace Mom. We love you and we will meet you at the river.
