Please accept my condolences and some encouragement from God’s Word. The Bible makes it clear that God did not originally intend for humans to die. Due to Adam and Eve’s action we have inherited sin and death. – Genesis 1:28; 2:15-17; 3:19; Romans 5:12. All was not lost. Jesus Christ said: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” – John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15. Not long after saying this, Jesus resurrected a widow’s only son, later, a twelve-year-old girl, and Jesus’ own friend Lazarus. By his miracles, Jesus showed on a small scale what will take place on earth under God’s Kingdom. – Luke 7:11-17; 8:40-56; John 11:11-44. When the enemy death strikes, grief can be much, but as we draw close to God the Bible promises that “he will sustain you.” – Psalm 55:22. I do hope these words give some comfort.

LeRoy, my first business friend in Clewiston, and later a much cherished personal friend, has made his way into our Lord's care. Without his support, encouragement, and endorsement my company would have had a difficult time succeeding. Always with an open door and open heart to take time to chat with me, is a fond memory that I will have until we meet again. To his family and especially Ms. Sandra, may your peace come knowing that LeRoy has his. I hope that your family memories ease this time for all of you. Rest in Peace, my dear friend LeRoy.

A long time friend, LeRoy was a very big help in many ways while I lived in Clewiston and LaBelle. He is one we can all thank for the funeral homes we have today. A very big part of the Elks Lodge and Clewiston Country Club. A man the citizens of Hendry County will miss, as I do.
