Obituary of Wanda Faye Moree

Wanda Faye Yoder Shuford Moree, age 84, of Moore Haven, passed away November 29, 2012 in Moore Haven. She was born May 21, 1928 in Moore Haven, FL, to the late Ray Dwight and the late Faye Aileen (Allison) Yoder. Wanda lived most of her life in Moore Haven, but she also lived in Palatka, Cape Coral and Ormond Beach before returning to Moore Haven. She graduated from Moore Haven High School in 1946 and from Stetson University in 1950 with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, while at Stetson University she was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She was a member of the Saint Martin's Episcopal Church. Wanda worked for the Division of Family Services as a social worker and supervisor; the finance department of the Glades Co. Clerk's Office and was the owner/operator of Glades Enterprises and Eagle Cattle Co. She is survived by her son: Philip Craig Shuford, Jr.; daughter: Lori Shuford Bond granddaughters: Lainey (Preston) Stokes and Shelby Bond; great-grandchildren; Reston Stokes and Stetson Stokes. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack B. Moree. Memorial services will be held Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 2:00 pm at First United Methodist Church of Moore Haven with Pastor Charley Watts officiating.
