Obituary of Shirley Jean Cox

Shirley Jean Cox Shirley Cox, age 74, passed away at home in the care of her loving family. She was born on July 17, 1939, in Louisville, Kentucky. She moved to Fort Myers in the 60's and has been a life Long Resident where she raised her daughters. She is survived by her daughters Georgetta Jean Foraker and Paula Fay Strunk. She was also the Loving Grandmother to Hanna Lee Foraker and Kaylee Marie Foraker and the mother- in-law to Jerry Lee Foraker and Wanda Creel. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Akin-Davis Funeral Home Located at 13932 Palm Beach Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33905. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Following services friends and family are invited to a luncheon to share memories of Shirley.
