Obituary for: Dennis Griffin
Dennis Griffin, age 55 of Moore Haven passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 in his home.
Dennis was born in Clewiston, Florida on September 10, 1958 to the late Richard and Serafina Griffin. He married Mary Crosby, she survives. Dennis was the Owner/Operator of Griffin Electric and A/C Company in Moore Haven for many years. He was a newly sworn in County Commissioner for Glades County, having served one and half years of his first term. He was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Moore Haven.
Survivors include his loving wife: Mary "Beth" (Crosby) Griffin, son: Lance "Jake" Griffin and his wife Taylor, daughters: Nancy Griffin and her finance Cliff Peeno, Sera Griffin Roberts and her husband Kenneth, three wonderful grandchildren: Cayson, Hadlee and Kenley, his sister: Kathy Decker and her husband Mark, many uncles, aunts, cousins and other family members. Dennis was a great man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held, today, Thursday, February 6, 2014, at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church Of Moore Haven, Moore Haven with Rev. Sherrill Tillery officiating. Visitation was held Wednesday evening, February 5, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Moore Haven.
