Obituary of Earnel Charlie Ford

Earnel Charlie "Ernie" Ford, Sr., age 81, of LaBelle, passed away September 8, 2014 in LaBelle. He was born May 13, 1933 in Desoto County, FL, to the late Roy Hollis Ford and the late Anna Belle (Jordan) Ford. Ernie was a longtime resident of LaBelle and retired as an Investigator with the Hendry County Sheriff's Office after 33 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of both VFW and American Legion. Ernie was also a member of LaBelle Masonic Lodge #379 F. & A.M. He is survived by his wife: Beatrice Jewel (Cockram) Ford, children: Joan (Cecil) Music of LaBelle and Billy (Grace) Ford of Moore Haven, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and; one great-great Grandchild. Ernie was preceded in death by his son: Earnel Charlie Ford, Jr. in 1971. Funeral Services will be Thursday September 11, 2014 , 10:00 am at Fort Denaud Cemetery in LaBelle with Pastor L. W.
