Obituary for: Matthew David Tharpe Matthew David Tharpe, age 44, of Fort Myers, passed away September 20, 2014 in Fort Myers. He was born May 17, 1970 in Bradenton, FL, to; David Hudson and Betty Alyce (Kinslow) Tharpe. Mr. Tharpe married Heather Mammen on October 15, 2005. He was a member of Gulf Coast Church of Christ. Matthew leaves behind his loving wife; Heather Tharpe, his precious daughter; Hailey, his caring parents; David and Betty Tharpe, sisters; Jennifer Budreau and husband Jon and Kelli Tharpe, two nephews and one niece as well as multiple extended family members and close friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Gulf Coast Church of Christ, 9550 Six Mile Cypress Parkway, Fort Myers, FL 33966 with Randy Simmons officiating. Visitation will be from 10 - 11am followed by a memorial service at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gulf Coast Church of Christ building fund or a college fund for Hailey. .
