Obituary of Myron E. Prowant

Myron E. Prowant, age 96, of Moore Haven, formerly of Zephyrhills, passed away March 6, 2015 in Okeechobee, Florida.He was born October 29, 1918, in Davison, MI, to the late David and the late Myrtle (Miller) Prowant. Mr. Prowant was a construction contractor for many years. He was an avid fisherman and especially enjoyed fishing for speckled perch on Lake Okeechobee. Survivors include one son: Richard W. Prowant and wife Jean of Moore Haven, Florida; four sisters: Velma, Vera, Verna, and Audrey; daughter-in-law Jaye Prowant; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Mr. Prowant was preceded in death by his wife, Ann; daughter, Monica Steve; son, Douglas Prowant; sister, Peggy; and brother, Willard. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015, in Oakside Cemetery, Zephyrhills, Florida. The service will be conducted by grandson, Don Steve.
