Obituary of Willie E. Harvey

Sister Willie E. Harvey, age 82, of Lehigh Acres, passed away May 29, 2015 in Lehigh Acres, Florida. She was born on September 28, 1932, in Durham, North Carolina to the parentage of Ad Jones and Emily B. Jones. She was the seventh of eight siblings who all preceded her. After living in North Carolina for a number of years, she moved to East Orange, New Jersey where she married Willie Lee Harvey and was a member of Park Ave. Christian Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, whom will be missed very much. She lived in Raleigh-Durham for a few years near her son before she and her husband moved to Lehigh Acres to make their home. She leaves behind to cherish fond memories her loving husband; Willie Lee Harvey of Lehigh Acres, Florida, two sons; Emanuel Jones of Irvington, New Jersey, Willie Harvey of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, one Daughter; Carol Jones of Angier, North Carolina, eight precious grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends. Gathering of her family and friends will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 1-3 p.m. in Akin-Davis Funeral Home located at 13932 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, Florida. Cremation rites will be accorded following the gathering of family and friends.
