Obituary of Nan Nell Parrish

Nan Nell Parrish, age 79, of Fort Myers, passed away June 11, 2015 in Fort Myers. Nan was born in Grayson County, Virginia on May 31, 1936 the daughter of Robert Dewey and Lura Clyde Robbins Osborne. She married James Parrish; he survives. She worked for 12 years as an administrative assistant for Bank of America and then worked for Hughes Supply until she retired in 2005. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind her loving husband; James Parrish of Fort Myers, three daughters; Julie Martin of Asheville, North Carolina, Beth Moff of North Fort Myers, and Jennifer McEnteer of Cape Coral, two sisters; Faye LaBeau of Winchester, Virginia, Phyllis Wasson of Martinsburg, West Virginia, four precious grandchildren and two adorable great grandchildren. A life celebration service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Felda where interment will follow in Felda Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday,, June 15, 2015 in Akin-Davis Funeral Home located at 13932 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers. Donations may be given in Nan's name to Hope Hospice. Celebration service is being handled by Akin-Davis Funeral Home – Fort Myers.
