Obituary of Mary Kathryn Zemonek

ZEMONEK, Mary Kathryn, 97, peacefully passed away at home on July 19, 2015 in Clewiston, FL. She was born in West Virginia in 1918, and has made Florida her home since 1957. Mary worked for Federal Savings and Loan for 20 years in Clewiston. She loved her church family and remained active in church activities until her health declined. Her personality and energy was admired by all who knew her. Her family thanks all her friends and caregivers that have helped in her final years. Special thanks to Daphney Foster, Claudette Bedwood, and Dr. Hans -Louis Charles. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara and husband, Richard; grandson, Jim and wife, Carrie; great grandsons, Colby and Chase Sikes. Funeral Services were held at First United Methodist Church in Clewiston at 11:00 am, July 22, 2015 with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Interment followed at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
